Thank you for calling my from the airport [Pittsburgh National Air Show 2011] when the P-51s were in the air. Did you read what happened in Reno, Nevada? A P-51 was flying in a "race" and crashed into the crowd killing nine people. Yes, it was a P-51 BUT it had been altered (the wings were several inches shorter and other changes had been made so it could fly faster but interfered with its maneuverability). Tragic.
You know by now that P stands for "pursuit". B stands for "bomber". F stands for "fighter". T stands for "trainer" and A stands for "attack". The A-10 was famous as an Anti-Tank weapon in desert warfare.
